Video hosting

Some clients prefer to have their videos hosted outside of their own website, perhaps for bandwidth or storage issues. We offer this as an optional service with prices starting at just £10 per month for up to 2 Gb of videos (sufficient for up to 10 x 5 minute videos in low, medium and high quality for all formats as shown below).

all videos are uploaded to a dedicated client-specific directory
all videos are uploaded in the following formats: wmv (Windows Media), flv (Flash), mp4 (eg for iPod)
all videos are uploaded in three quality/size versions: low, medium and high
servers are located and maintained in the UK (in Kent) with an independently monitored uptime of 99.9%+
we provide you with a simple URL link which you can use on your website or in emails to prospects/customers/employees etc
we also provide ftp access, if you wish to download the videos

Optional extras include a dedicated sub-domain name and your own dedicated page with a media player of your choice (fully customised to be on-brand).

For more demanding requirements we can offer virtual private servers from £49 per month as well as fully managed dedicated servers from £119 per month.

For studio based productions, vIT has facilities just ten minutes off the end of the M3 in the beautiful New Forest, with views overlooking the Isle of Wight.

The studios are well suited to shooting interviews, presentations, video blogs and stills photography, as well as for recording voiceovers and podcasts.

We have comfortable, well equipped meeting rooms for production meetings and viewings.

Oh, and a well stocked bar which opens at 5.30pm.

vIT is as comfortable filming on location as we are in the studio, whether it's at your offices, your customer's or anywhere else.

That goes for overseas as well as UK-based productions. We're able to send a small crew (usually no more than two people) and equipment anywhere in the world without the need for local hire or expensive shipping costs. Years of 'indie' filming experience has taught us how to keep costs down when shooting overseas without compromising the quality of the production.

To date, we've produced films all over the UK and Europe, the USA, Africa and Latin America.
